that's very nice, yes maybe breaking it into smaller chunks is better to understand, this is a hard one to undestand, this concept of gimbal lock
cheers ajitsingh, that explanation whilst good, is somewhat limited, a euler filter can only correct certain circumstances, it doesn't solve the actual problem. But it's got me thinking about how I can reproduce how the euler filter actually works. BTW Cameron is an awesome animator, I love his Turok stuff, was showing some of the guys at weta and even they were blown away.
